About Addicted Man, 5° Danse en Vol, Brussels , 2005.

“Paulo Guerreiro’s first work, presented a strong and coherent exercise (...) the interpreter’s body was an object of energised explosions, being later a receptacle for a metaphor of daily vices and addictions. Even if unbalanced in terms of dramaturgic conception and consequential organisation, this work reveals knowledge of what can and must be convoked in a creative process. The way it comprises concerns about the role of creation in the daily life through simple actions (...) is reason enough to see in this short piece a possibility of confrontational speech regarding technique versus metaphor.”
